Artist's Description

The Monarch of the Forest stands guard by the stream's waterfalls watching the watcher.

Painted using a fluffy radiator roller and black gesso to form the trees. The more the radiator roller is pointed towards the "centre" of the painting the more the gesso breaks on the canvas. A foam brush is then used to line in the trees to give more definition, and white gesso and a flat brush used to form the bark.

A sponge is then used to dab in black and white Gesso to form bushes and foliage.
